Beijing: Episode 1 Day 4
It’s been foggy most mornings when I wake up but I decided to take some pictures out my window anyway. I got up a little early today so I skipped breakfast and went straight to the studio. I knew Serena would probably have some boba tea for me since she’s awesome. I was right - she had TWO for me. Cantalope and Pawaw (whatever that is). The cantalope is my new favorite!
I have walked to work every day which has been really great. It’s so close to the studio. There are a few interesting sights on the way, including this large tablet structure which has both ancient and modern Chinese writing. Pretty cool! After I pass this thing I’m nearly at the subway platform, which I have to walk up and through. Today I happened to be walking by just as a train was passing below me.
I’m actually working tomorrow. I’m not sure how much time I’ll have for sight-seeing while I’m here because there is so much to do. As much as I want to enjoy myself, this trip is all about work! But on a brighter note, at least I’m not forced to ride around in this:
Take that, India… China with the smallest, weirdest, self-propelled deathtrap-of-a-vehicle for teh win!

Yeah… I can just imagine that car on I-75. Truck-boat-truck! YEE-HAW!!!
